Shopping is always fun at St. Mary’s Hospice House Thrift Store. Our team of dedicated volunteers from St. Mary’s Auxiliary carefully chooses, cleans and displays high quality, name-brand merchandise – all at prices your pocketbook will love.
Proceeds from the store help St. Mary’s Hospice Services fulfill its mission to provide quality end-of-life care to anyone who needs it, regardless of ability to pay.
Hospice is a special kind of caring for individuals and families who are facing end-of-life issues. Hospice is a comprehensive approach to care provided by a team of health care professionals and volunteers who work together to meet the spiritual, physical, mental and emotional needs of the patient and their family.
St. Mary’s Hospice Services provides care in patients’ homes across a 13-county area of Northeast Georgia and also operates the region’s only inpatient hospice house, a beautiful 12-bed facility located on the campus of St. Mary’s Highland Hills Village in Oconee County. The store gratefully accepts donations, so shoppers never know what treasures they might find! Please bring gently used donations during normal operating hours to the Thrift Store, located at 2165 W. Broad Street in Athens. Please be sure to arrive well before closing time to allow time for unloading. Donations are tax deductible. Wanted items include:
