St. Mary’s Foundation
St. Mary’s Foundation was founded in 2001 with the mission to improve and enhance services provided by St. Mary’s Health Care System and ensure these services are available to those who need them most. For nearly 20 years, St. Mary’s Foundation has partnered with individuals, organizations, physicians and employees to raise the funds and awareness necessary to ensure St. Mary’s Health Care System will thrive for years to come. Meet the Foundation.

FEATURED FUND: Neurointerventional Biplane
St. Mary’s and Georgia Neurological Surgery & Comprehensive Spine (GNS) are partnering to bring a life-saving service to St. Mary’s Hospital, using a brand new state-of-the-art technology: a neurointerventional biplane.
This new system will produce images simultaneously from two regions of the patient’s head, from front to back and from side to side. These images will aid physicians in performing neurointerventional procedures such as clot removal, aneurysm repair and the treatment of artery and vein malformations, carotid artery blockages, brain and neck tumors, brain hemorrhages, spinal compression fractures and difficult-to-cure nose bleeds. For St. Mary’s to purchase the biplane system, a significant financial investment is required: nearly $1.5 million total cost. St. Mary’s Foundation has kicked-off a fundraising campaign to offset the cost of acquiring and installing the neurointerventional biplane. Please consider making a gift in support of the capital campaign and help bring this life-saving technology to St. Mary’s.
